Nathan Hensley

Nathan Blake Hensley, 27, of Gastonia, N.C., formerly of Chattanooga, passed away peacefully to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, April 4, 2013 at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD.Nathan was born in Chattanooga on Aug. 19, 1985. He was a member of Bethlehem Church in Gastonia, N.C., and loved fishing, Tennessee football, and cherished time with his friends.Survivors include his parents, Tim and Karen Hensley; brothers, Matthew (Bonnie) Hensley and Ben Hensley, all of Gastonia; maternal grandmother, Katherine Worley and paternal grandfather, Dewey Hensley, both of Chattanooga; nieces Olivia and Kate; three uncles and one aunt in Chattanooga.A funeral service to celebrate Nates life will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 11, 2013 at Lupton Drive Baptist Church.Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens, Hixson.The family will receive friends for visitation from 2-8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 10, 2013, at Hamilton Funeral Home.In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made in Nathans name to the Marfan Syndrome Research, in care of, Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, MRB539, 733 N.
