ROSSVILLE Vicki Lynn Moyer, 55, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, April 6, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer. She had lived in the North Georgia area for most of her life and was of the Baptist faith. She was previously employed with Ridgeland High School where she worked in the cafeteria for many years and loved going to the beach, the movies and spending time with her family. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother that will be greatly missed by all who knew her.She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Lee Shaw.Survivors include her mother, Betty Lawson Shaw, of Fort Oglethorpe; daughter and son-in-law, Shannon Rogers (Glenn) Hartness, of Fort Oglethorpe; brother, Michael (Vina) Shaw, of Rossville; two sisters, Debbie Phillips, of Fort Oglethorpe, and Connie (Steve) Grider, of Chattanooga; three grandchildren, Kelsey, Kevin and Kyle Hunt; and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 10, 2013, in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel with Brother Kyle Taylor officiating.Burial will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.The family will begin receiving friends all day Tuesday and prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.Online guest book at www.wilsonfuneralhome.com.
