William Keenum

William Horace Keenum, 90, of Chattanooga, now joined his wife of 50 years, Virginia, on Wednesday, April 10, 2013.He was born in Muscle Shoals, Ala., and was one of nine children. William was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving during WW II and retired from EPB after 33 years of service. He was a member of White Oak Baptist Church for 50 years, participating in various church activities, and was also a member of the White Oak Lions Club.William was preceded in death by his parents and seven siblings.Survivors include his son, Mike (Linda) Keenum, Bixoli, Miss.; grandson, Jeff Keenum, currently attending Spring Hill College in Mobile, Ala.; sister, Rose Bowman, Hixson; and several nieces and nephews.A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, April 12, in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.Visit www.heritagefh.com to share words of comfort to the family.There will be no visitation at the funeral home.Arrangements are by Heritage Funeral Home, East Brainerd Road.
