Richard Hammond, 72, passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2013, at a local healthcare facility. Survivors include his cousin and caretaker, Tommye Bryson, other relatives and friends. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 13, 2013, at Highland Memorial Gardens.The body will lie in state from noon until 5 p.m. today at John P. Franklin Funeral Home.
