Ruth Sippel

WILDWOOD Ruth JoAnn Coupland Sippel, 83, passed away Friday, April 12, 2013.She was born to the late Walter and Mable Coupland in Galesburg, Ill. She graduated from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, worked as a Bible teacher for more than 20 years in the Chattanooga City School System, as well as, teaching the bible for more than 40 years in several churches. She was also a radio broadcaster in Illinois, Ohio and locally in Chattanooga, at WMBW. Mrs. Sippel loved her family and adored children.She was also preceded in death by her son, Joel Sippel.Survivors include her husband, Dean L. Sippel, of Wildwood, Ga.; son, Bruce Dale Sippel, of Huntsville, Ala.; two sisters, Gladys Snow, of Galesburg, Ill., Lois Lupinski of Luzerne, Pa.; brother, Dean Coupland, of Galesburg, Ill.; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. Wednesday until service time.The funeral will be held at noon Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Jeffrey Jackson and Pastor W.D.
