Nancy Turney

Nancy Perry Turney, 69, of Ooltewah, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 21, 2013, surround by her loving family following a six year battle with cancer.Nancy was a member of the Brainerd Baptist Church, and a youth director for many years for the First Baptist Church in Natchitoches, La.Nancy is survived by her husband, Richard H. Turney; daughter, Tana Meador; son, Cary (Rhonda) Jernigan; grandchildren, Lindsay (John) Putnam, Scott Jernigan, Ben Jernigan, Sierra Meador, Ashton Meador, Caleb Meador; mother and father, Mae Alice and Burton Perry; sisters, Connie (Aubrey) Gardner, Wilma Jean (Clois) Coon; and several nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 24, at the East Brainerd Chapel Chattanooga Funeral Home.Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 24, at the East Brainerd Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Rev.
