Carolyn Bledsoe

RISING FAWN Carolyn Williams Bledsoe, 79, passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2013.Mrs. Bledsoe was born May 22, 1933 to the late Clifford and Battie Lee Williams. She was a member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy, Daughters of the American Revolution and was very creative in sewing, painting and gardening. She was preceded in death by a brother, James Harold Williams.Survivors: husband, Charles R. "Chuck" Bledsoe Sr., Rising Fawn; daughter, Lisa Carol (Richard) Allison, Austin, Texas; two sons, Charles R. (Sofia) Bledsoe Jr., Flintville, Tenn., and Lee Franklin (Kathy) Bledsoe, Plano, Texas; five grandchildren, Charles Bledsoe III, Frank L. Bledsoe II, Erin Bledsoe, Ashley (Jnani) Gonzalez and Thomas Allison; two stepgrandchildren, Nikki Freitas and Justin Mello; one stepgreat-granddaughter, Alyssa Freitas.Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, April 27, 2013, in the LaFayette chapel of Wilson Funeral Home with Pastor George Palmer officiating.Interment will be in Crestlawn Cemetery.Active pallbearers will be John Carlson, Tyler Whittaker, Thomas Allison, Jnani Gonzalez, Mike Hoye and Don Kent. The DAR and UDC will serve as honorary pallbearers.The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Heart Association.Online register book available at www.wilsonfuneralhome.com.Wilson Funeral Homes, LaFayette chapel will be in charge of the arrangements for Carolyn Williams Bledsoe.
