Bobbie Gothard

Bobbie Gene Gothard, 62, of Sale Creek, formerly of Rhea County, passed away Monday, July 29, 2013.He was a longtime resident of Rhea County, and was retired from the U.S. Navy, and was of the Church of God faith.He was preceded in death by Bobbie and Dora Mae Marler Gothard; two brothers, Homer and Billy Godsey.Survivors include two daughters, Pam (C.M) Byrd, South Carolina, April (Donnie) Barboza, Massachusetts; seven brothers, Rick (Faye) Gothard, Spring City, Tenn., Mickey, Tommy (Nina) Gothard, all of Dayton, Tenn., Leslie and Mike (Yvonne) Gothard, all of Chattanooga, Steve (Rita) Smith, and Johnny (Robin) Godsey, both of Florida; three sisters, Diana Gothard, of Dayton, Robbie (Sam) Burkhart, and Ruby Gothard, both of Chattanooga; special friends, Dee Williams; several nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles.Service noon Friday in the chapel of Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home with Dr. David Haynes officiating.Burial at Chattanooga National Cemetery.Please visit www.coultergarrisonfuneralhome.com to share condolences.Visitation 4 to 8 p.m. today at Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home Inc., Dayton, TN 37321.
