Carlean Holt

Dorothy Carlean Holt, 92, of Chattanooga, went to her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2013.She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and homemaker.Born on June 25, 1921, Dorothy Carlean Adams was a 1939 graduate of Central High School. Carlean was a member of Christ United Methodist Church.She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth D. Holt; sister, Helen Smith; brother, J.C. Adams; and a granddaughter, Tonya Holt.Survivors include her daughter, Dorine (Lamar) Bagley, Chattanooga; son, David Holt, Chattanooga; granddaughters, Carrie (Scott) Dean, Prattville, Ala., and Sherry Mast, Nashville; brother; J.W. Adams; and several nieces and nephews.A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 9, 2013, at Chattanooga National Cemetery with Rev. Mark Flynn officiating.
