JASPER Steven Eric Reed, 39, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2013.He was employed by Astec Industries Inc.His grandparents, Jesse Reed, Jack Anderson and Imogene Anderson Jones preceded him in death.Eric is survived by his wife, Crystal Johnson Reed; four children, Jacob, Eli, Emory and Ashlyn Reed; parents, James Edward "Eddie" and Vickie Anderson Reed; sister, Misty (Jason) Colburn; grandmother, Sarah Reed; nephews, Caden and Bryson; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.Funeral services will be conducted from the funeral home chapel 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 10, 2013, with Brother David Grisham.Interment will follow in Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens.The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. CDT today, Aug. 9, 2013.To send online condolences visit www.tatefh.com.Arrangements by Tate Funeral Home, LLC, Jasper, TN 423-942-9500.
