Roy Gallaher

ROCKWOOD Roy E. Gallaher, 92, a native of Decatur, Tenn., died Thursday, Aug. 8, 2013, after a battle with cancer.He was a member of Asbury UM Church and resided in Rockwood, for 30 years. Roy was employed by Weill, Ellis, Weems and Copeland law firm for most of his life as a CPA after serving as first sergeant in WWII in France and England. He attended the University of Chattanooga and graduated from McKenzie Business College.Roy was preceded in death by his daughter, Dianne Gallaher Tawzer.He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Vivian Frances Gallaher; son, David Gallaher; grandchildren, Scott and Michael Tawzer, Patrick, Micah, Esther, Lauren, Rachel and Stephen Gallaher; great-grandchildren, Olivia, Michael Ann and Laura Tawzer and Konnor Gallaher.Funeral services will be Saturday, Aug. 10, at 2 p.m. with the Rev.
