ALTAMONT Sharon Lee Tate, 65, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2013.She was a member of Liberty Independent Baptist Church. She was born in McMinnville, Tenn., on July 18, 1948 to John Robert and Clara Bell Brown Tate who preceded her in death along with her sister, Patricia Faye Clark.She is survived by her sister, Debbie Hampton; brother, John Robert Tate; niece, Brandis (Coy) King; nephews, Bryan (Celina) Clark, Steven Tate and Brad Hampton; great-nieces and nephews, Mecina, Ember and Zayne Hampton, Kiera Tate, Courtney and Harley King.Funeral services will be 2 p.m. today in the funeral home chapel with Ministers Clayton Jones and Coy King officiating with burial to follow in Altamont Cemetery.Arrangements by Layne Funeral Home, Altamont, Tenn. www.laynefuneralhome.com
