Bill Highfield

WILLIAMSON William E. "Bill" Highfield, 82, passed away on Monday, Aug. 12, 2013, at Spalding Regional Hospital.Mr. Highfield was born in Chattanooga on Sept. 25, 1930. He preceded in death by his parents, George W. and Nora Lee Highfield; his wife, Freda Highfield.Mr. Highfield retired from AT&T and was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force having served in the Korean War. He was a member of the 40th Fighting Squadron and was a member of the C.A.F.Survivors include his daughter, Linda Turner; granddaughters, Brittany Turner-Green, Brooke Turner; great-grandchildren, Harper Green and William Jackson Meadows; sisters, Louise Alexander and Ruth Highfield; brother, James N. Highfield.Graveside funeral services for Mr. Bill Highfield will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, August 15, 2013, at Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors. Rev. Jim Cannady and Rev.
