Frances Everett

KINGSTON Frances Moore Everett, 94, went home to he with her Lord Monday morning, Aug. 12, 2013, at Harriman Care & Rehab Center.She was born Dec. 6, 1910 in New Salem, Ga., moving to Kingston in 1954, where she raised her family. Mam-maw Moore, as she was known to most, was a member of Kingston United Methodist Church and was an active WMU member at both Kingston and New Salem. She was a loving mother, doting ma and a friend to everyone she met. She was an avid quilter and enjoyed quilting in both Kingston and New Salem.Preceded in death by her first husband, Terrance Moore and second husband, Porter Everett; parents Horace and Fannie Cordle, of Chickamauga, Ga.; sisters, Margaret and Bernadine; brother, Henry Morgan, of Trion, Ga., and Tom Cordle of Kingston.Survivors: loving daughter grandchildren; great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; special friends and extended familySarah Brown and husband, Howard, who she loved as a son, of Kingston, Judy McNew, of Knoxville, Donald Brown, of Bristol, Bethany and Stephany McNew, of Knoxville, Cindy Callahan, of Jonesboro, Angel and Hannah Brown, of Bristol Ethan, Logan, Addy, Dominic and Beckett; special friends and extended family, Sue and Glen Osborne, Martha and Kenneth Tester, of BristolThe family will receive friends noon-2 p.m. today, Aug. 14, 2013, at Fraker Funeral Hone in Kingston with funeral service to follow at 2 p.m., in the chapel with Rev. Barry Moore and Bob Henley officiating. Burial and graveside service will follow at Calvary-Hazelwood Cemetery with Rev. Randy Griffis officiating.
