ROSSVILLE Hubert Ray McCrary, 75, departed this life Friday, Aug. 16, 2013.He was born in Stevenson, Ala., to the late Jesse Lee and Robbie Velma McCrary and was of the Baptist faith.He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Joe and Garland McCrary; and fiance, Margaret Shultzes.Survivors include his children, Mona Green, of Ringgold, Keith McCrary, of Chickamauga, Anita Whittemore, of Ringgold, Tammy Shell, of Rossville, Cornell McCrary, of Ringgold; siblings, Manson McCrary, Larene Barrentine, Naydene Cook, all of Alabama; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 18, 2013, in the chapel with Rev. David Barrentine officiating.Family will receive friends after 4 p.m. today and prior to the service Sunday at the funeral home.Interment will follow in New Home Baptist Church Cemetery in Pisgah, Ala.Arrangements are by W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home, Fort Oglethorpe.
