Millard Pennington

TRENTON Millard Almon Pennington, passed away Friday, Aug. 16, 2013, at Dade Rehabilitation Center.He retired from Southern Centrifugal after 26 years of service. Mr. Pennington was an ordained Deacon at Union Baptist Church, Flat Rock, Ala., and a recent member of Edgewood Baptist Church, Trenton, Ga. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy serving in World War II.He is survived by his wife, Iona Christopher Pennington; daughters, Faye (R.D.) Johnson, Chattanooga, Jean (Gary) Tipton and Brenda Buchanan, of Trenton; sons, Wayne (Faye) Pennington, Ringgold, Ga., Randy (Sheila) Pennington, Rock Spring, Ga.; 12 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; sisters, LaGatha James, Jacksonville, Fla., Ethel Davidson, Flat Rock, Ala., Geraldine Britt, Pisgah, Ala.; several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held 2:30 p.m. EDT Sunday, Aug. 18, 2013, with the Rev. Gary Tipton, Rev. Jim Lilley and the Rev.
