Mildred Frady

Mildred Frady, 64, of Chattanooga, passed away Saturday, Aug. 17, 2013 surrounded by family and friends.She was born and raised in Ringgold, Ga., and graduated from Ringgold High School. Mildred retired from BlueCross BlueShield, where she was employed in the finance department for 15 years. She was a member of City Church for 29 years and her life was centered around the Lord, her family and friends, and church. Mildred had many friends and was known for her cooking and hospitality, and was loved by all and will be greatly missed.She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Mary Elizabeth Allen; sister, Robbie VanPelt.Survivors are her daughter, Gwen (Jamey) Moon; granddaughters, Kelsea and Kayla Moon; sisters, Wanda (Richard) Monds, Mary Nell (Jay) Penley, and Tommie Holmes; several nieces, nephews and cousins.Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 21 at City Church with Pastors Mike Chapman and Ernie Reno officiating.Interment will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.A special thanks to the Memorial Hospital Oncology unit for their excellent care and compassion.Visit www.heritagefh.com to share words of comfort to the family and view the memorial tribute.The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. today, Aug. 20, at the funeral home, and from 12-1 p.m. Wednesday at City Church of Chattanooga.Arrangements by Heritage Funeral Home East Brainerd Road.
