Clema Coldwell Levan, 82, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2013, at her Lookout Valley home.A native of the Griffith Creek Community, she was a daughter of the late Joe and Maudie Coldwell.Clema attended school in Whitwell, graduating from Whitwell High School.Affectionately known as "Clem" and "Super Grammy"; she retired from Red Food Store, having worked there for nearly 20 years. Following her retirement, Clema began working for Blood Assurance. During her tenure with both companies, Clema worked at The Riverside Catfish House.She was a 45 year member of the Eastern Star.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Andy Levan; five brothers and two sisters.Survivors include her children, Chris Levan, Dennis Levan, Dawn (Al) Wade, and Gail (Bob) Kuhar; grandchildren, Patrick (Shannon) Earls, Jamie (Frank) George, Laura Levan, Chris (Andria) Levan, II, Katie Levan, Andrew Levan, Kristy (Justin) Ott, Andy Everett and Jon (Casey) Everett; three great-grandchildren, Emma, Leland, and Avery; dear friend, Greta Richardson; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.A ceremony to celebrate her life will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 24, 2013, at Chattanooga Church, 6188 Adamson Circle, Chattanooga, with Pastor Morty Lloyd officiating.The family will gather with friends on Saturday from 1:30-3 p.m. at the church.
