Jessie Friddell

Jessie V. Friddell, 98, a lifelong resident of Harrison went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2013.She was a member of Westwood Baptist Church and also attended Friendship Baptist Church. She was retired from Belks Department store after nine years and Effrons Department Store for over 10 years.She was born to the late John and Alice B. Smith Clinton and was preceded in death by her husband Howard Friddell and three sisters.Survivors include one daughter, Gloria Hughes, of Birchwood; three grandchildren, Gina Brown, of Harrison, Eddie Friddell, of Birchwood and Donna Davis, of Georgetown; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home chapel with Pastor Margaret Poteat officiating.Burial will follow in Harrison Cemetery.The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.You may visit our guest book at www.turnerfamilyfuneralhome.com.Arrangements by the Highway 58 chapel of Turner Funeral Home, 3913 Webb Road 622-3171
