Margaret Brant

Margaret S. Brant, 82, of Chattanooga, surrounded by her family, shuffled off this mortal coil in her sleep on the morning of Friday, Aug. 23, 2013.Daughter of the late Samuel Tustin and Emilie E. Simpson, she was preceded in death by sisters Mildred Simpson and Ruth Trundle and brothers Sam and John Simpson. She is survived by her sister Carol (Olin) Boehms; son David (Susan) Brant; daughter Emilie (Bob) Van Horn; and granddaughter Amanda Rose Cagle. Generous philanthropist and lover of nature, music, literature and art, she dedicated thirty-three years of service to South Central Bell and a lifetime to raising her children and granddaughter. Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Joseph's Indian School or Help Hospitalized Veterans.
