Theresa Williams

Theresa Ann Williams, 62, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 22, 2013 in Chattanooga.Theresa is a retired Police Officer with Chattanooga Police Department and also retired from Moccasin Bend. She is a member of New Covenant Fellowship Church.Theresa is an avid sports fan and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.She was preceded in death by her father, James Harris, Sr.; mother, Addie Harris; son, Michael Harris; daughter, Adelia Harris; brothers, Maurice Harris and James Harris Jr.; and sister, Marcella Goldring.Survivors include her husband, Robert Williams; daughters, Lisa (Ed) Richmond and Melody (Otis) Smartt; sons, Andre (Toni) Williams, Marcel (Tonya) Williams, Kevin (Gaye) McKenzie, Sean (Dawn) Smith, Lamonte Smith and Lamont Bowman; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Paul Harris; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 31, 2013, at New Covenant Fellowship with Pastor Bernie Miller and others officiating. Interment in Lakewood Memory Gardens, East.The body will lie in state after noon today at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Avenue, 622-9995.
