Hilwatha Williams

Mr. Hilwatha Williams, Jr. went home to be with the Lord on Monday, Nov. 25, 2013. He was born Aug. 28, 1955 in Chattanooga, Tenn. He's a retired veteran of the US Marine Corps, and also a retired laborer from Wheland Foundry. He was preceded in death by his father, Mr. Hilwatha Williams, Sr. He was blessed with two children: son, Anthony Gerald Williams and daughter, Kenyada Elyse Williams who he leaves to cherish his loving memories. He also leaves to rejoice for his life here on earth his mother, Mrs. Thelma Williams and one sister Linda Morris; one nephew Dameon (Janette) Williams; two great nephews, Devon'te Williams and Raequan Williams, and many devoted friends and loving relatives. A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 2, at Chattanooga National Cemetery. The body will lie in state after Noon today at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Avenue, 622-9995.
