LaFAYETTE Paul Allen Elswick Sr., 69, died Monday, Dec. 2, 2013. Preceded in death by wife, Peggy Jo Elswick; parents, Homer and Zelda Elswick; one sister; and four brothers. Survived by wife, Sandra Penson Elswick, of LaFayette; daughter and son-in-law, Tammy (Robert) Carter, of Fort Oglethorpe; sons and daughters-in-law, Paul (Kim) Elswick, of Ringgold, Bobby (Cathy) Elswick, of Fort Oglethorpe, and John (Kelly) Elswick, of Ringgold; stepchildren, Tina Payne, Jim Ed Penson, Jerry Penson, Dennis Penson and Brian Lindsey, of Rome; sisters, Doris, Lou and Bonnie; multiple grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral from the Wallis Memorial Chapel at 3 p.m. Saturday. Service by Rev. Body Blackwell and Rev. Jimmy Tomason. Interment: Crest-Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home Thursday from 4- 6 p.m. and all day Friday until 8 p.m. Arrangements by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
