Paul Fletcher

Paul Larry Fletcher, 70, of East Ridge, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2013, after a short but courageous battle with cancer. Mr. Fletcher was a United States Army veteran who served in Thailand during the Vietnam War. He was retired from Velsicol Chemical. After retirement he enjoyed hunting, other outdoor activities and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Miller Fletcher Sr. and Mary Conner. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Sharon Fletcher; children, John (Penney), Daniel, Stephanie, Robert, Destiny and Lewis; grandchildren, Chris Miller, Jonathan Fletcher and Ryan Ellis; brothers, William Fletcher and Dick Fletcher; sister, Edna DeGarmo; special cousin, Terry Bradshaw and special friend, Maria Fletcher. Mr. Fletcher donated his body to medical research and at his request there will be no service.
