Frankye Bright

SEWANEEFrankye Stephenson Bright died on Monday, Dec. 2, 2013. Born on Jan. 7, 1913, in the ByWy Community of Choctaw County, Miss., she was the daughter of John Tom and Ila Velma Daves Stephenson. She was married for 49 years to Myrah Clinton Bright, who died in 1988. She lived in Avondale Estates, Ga., until 2003 when she moved to Sewanee, Tenn., to live with family. Survivors include her sister, Anna Fay Stephenson Guest, of Madison, Ala., and her children, Linda Carole Bright Lankewicz (husband Frank) of Sewanee, and Harold Reed Bright (wife Cheryl) of Elora, Tenn.: four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be at Enon Presbyterian Church in Ackerman, Mississippi, at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, with burial in Enon Cemetery. Arrangements by Watson-North Funeral Home.
