Juanita Simmons

Juanita C. "Bonnie" Simmons, 83, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2013, in a local health care facility. Mrs. Simmons was employed with Miller Brothers for many years before operating her own antique shop. She loved collecting coins and glassware and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde M. Simmons; and 11 brothers and sisters. Survivors include her daughter, Anne (Terry) Smith, of Ringgold; brother, Dennis White, Jasper, Tenn.; stepdaughter, Sarah Lee, Powder Springs, Ga.; grandsons, Evan and Mark Wilson; several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m. today, Dec. 5, at Chattanooga National Cemetery with Dr. Darrell Henry officiating. To share expressions of sympathy, visit lane-southcrestchapel.com.
