Martha Jo Deems LAWRENCEVILLE Martha Jo Lillard Deems, 87, passed away on Monday, Dec. 2, 2013, of complications of Alzheimers Disease. She is survived by daughter, Deby Witt; and granddaughter, Lisa Jo Trower, both of Lawrenceville; nieces, Sandra S. Nachman, of Augusta, Ga., Patricia Roberts, of Bethany, Okla., and Anita Hill, of Roswell, Ga.; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. Jo was predeceased in life by her parents, James Edward and Austin Augusta Witt Lillard; brothers, Carroll M. Lillard and James A. Lillard; sisters, Dorothy Elizabeth Kobeck, Frances Betty Shelton and Norma Louise Thompson. Funeral services will be held at Wages & Sons Gwinnett Chapel at 2 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 6, 2013. The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. today, Dec. 5, 2013, at Wages & Sons Gwinnett Chapel. Graveside services and burial will take place at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013, at Fort Hill Cemetery in Cleveland, Tenn. Online condolences may be expressed at www.wagesandsons.com.
