Evelyn Walldorf

Evelyn Walldorf Evelyn Roddy Walldorf of Chattanooga, died peacefully at her home on Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2013. Mrs. Walldorf was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga and was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Chattanooga and the Lee Anderson Sunday School Class. She was an active member of Women of the Church. She was also a member of the Nancy Ward Chapter, DAR, and a member of the Hamilton County Republican Women's Club. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Dr. Brooks Noll, and her second husband, Herman Walldorf, as well as brothers, Dr. Stephen Roddy, of Houston and William Roddy, of Memphis and his wife, Mary Elizabeth. She was also preceded in death by her son-in-law, Albert Lee Smith and daughter-in-law, Flora Walldorf. Survivors include her children, Roddy (Terri) Noll, Rudy (Ann) Walldorf and Charlie Walldorf, all of Chattanooga; and Eunice Smith, of Birmingham; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Martha Roddy; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6, 2013, at First Presbyterian Church Chapel with Rev. Chris Elhers officiating. Burial will follow at Chattanooga Memorial Park.
