Nancy Hemphill

Nancy Edgeman Hemphill, 69, departed this life Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013. She was born in Chattanooga to the late Huston and Gladys Edgeman and was of the Baptist Faith. She retired from Springs Industry after 30 years of service there. Survivors include her children, Deedra Hemphill, of Atlanta, Jody (Tasha) Hemphill, of Ringgold, Michael (Paige) Hemphill, of Cumming, Ga., Kris (Buffy) Hemphill, of Rock Spring; sister, Leatha (Tommy) Vernon, of Kennesaw, Ga.; grandchildren, Stephen, Kristen, Corey, and Caroline Hemphill; and two nephews. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 9, in the Wallis Stewart Chapel with the Rev. Josh Hollifield officiating. Interment will follow in Anderson Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Arrangements are by the Wallis-Stewart Chapel of Wilson Funeral Homes-Ringgold, Georgia.
