Ruby Ott

Ruby Loveless Ott passed away on Monday, Dec. 9, 2013. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Joseph and Gayle Brewer, of Henagar; daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Ryen Berghammer, of Henagar; three grandchildren, Kimberly (Nate) Slattery, of Wright, Kan., Donna (Jamie) Kelley, of Hollywood, Ala., and Jeffrey (Brittany) Berghammer, of Harvest, Ala.; five great-grandchildren, Emily and Kaylee Slattery, Piper and Logan Berghammer, and Elizabeth Kelley; brother and sister-in-law, J.B. and Betty Loveless, of Ider, Ala.; two stepchildren Wanda (Lee) Wade, of North Augusta, Ga., and William (Mae) Ott, of Huntsville, Ala. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Henry Ott; son, Donnie Brewer; great-grandparents, William and Caroline Loveless; grandparents, Henry and Anna Loveless; parents, Benjamin and Lela Loveless; brother and sister-in-law, Ralph and Sarah Loveless; brother, Curtis Loveless; and step-son, Weldon Ott. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to beginning of service at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 12, 2013, at Cornerstone Funeral Chapel with Brother David Hairston officiating. Burial following the service at Biddle Cemetery, she was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
