Lester Griffith

Lester Edward "Lucky" Griffith, 57, passed Monday, Dec. 9, 2013. He attended Signal Mountain Junior High School. Lester worked at Melvin Worley Saw Mill in Signal Mountain, for most of his life and ended his working days at Dougs Body Shop in Whitwell, Tenn. He was preceded in death by parents, Dole and Beu1ah Griffith; brother, Johnny Griffith. He was married to Audrey Smith in 1986. After that marriage he married Kelly Miller in 2003. He is survived by wife, Kelly Griffith; ex-wife Audrey Griffith; children, Jennifer Griffith, Leslie Bidelman, Jon, James and Joshua and Jesse Roberts; grandchildren, Ryan, Summer and Aden Bidelman; siblings, Clara Louise Nolan, George Powell and Dorothy McCravy. Lucky is also survived by countless nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral: at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013, in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Pratt Hughes officiating. Burial: Pine Hill Cemetery. The body will lie in state from 4 until 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
