Margaret Arp

Margaret Jeanette Wyatt Arp, 88, of Red Bank, passed away peacefully to be united with her Lord and Savior on Monday, Dec. 9, 2013. She was born and raised in Roane County, Tenn.. Jennie was a member of Red Bank Baptist Church since 1952. Jennie had a special love for gardening and bowling. Her neighbors were so special to her and had friendships as long as 56 years. Jennie was preceded in death by her husband Charles H. Arp Jr of 66 years, at the time of his passing, her parents and eight brothers and sisters. Survivors are her sons, Ronnie (Janie) Arp, of Soddy-Daisy, Barry (Becky) Arp, of Hixson, and Alan (Angela) Arp, of Johnson City; five grandchildren, Ronnie Arp, Kaley Mounce, Allison Centamore, Dr. Nathan Arp and Lauren Arp; and 10 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until noon today, Dec. 13, at the North Chapel Chattanooga Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held immediately following with Dr. Fred Steelman and Rev. Bill Harvey officiating. Burial will be at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
