Thomas Keener

Thomas Wiley Keener Sr., 83, of Signal Mountain, passed away Thursday morning, Dec. 12, 2013, in the Partridge Medical Center. He was a Veteran of the Korean War where he served in the United States Air Force. He was preceded in death by sons, Timothy and Teddy Keener; parents, Ervin and Hester Keener; sisters, Geneva Nance, Gladys Alder, Mildred Pickett and Ruth Hammers; brother, James, Ervin, Paul and Johnny Keener. He is survived by three sons, Tommy (Rosemary), Terry David and Troy Keener, all of Signal Mountain; grandchildren, Eric Keener, Nakee Pichot, Nakeisha Keener; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Hazel (Tunnie) Lofty, Whitwell; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Sunday 1 p.m. CST in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Charlie Keener officiating. Burial will be in the Hall Cemetery with military honors performed by Sequatchie Valley Honor Guard. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com.
