Brian Powell

Brian Keith Powell, 36, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 12, 2013 in an Augusta, Ga., hospital. He was a native and lifelong resident of the north Georgia area and was a self-employed auto mechanic and also worked in masonry. Brian loved to fish and was preceded in death by his parents, William Thomas Powell and Brenda Brogdon Powell, both in 2010, and his sister, Anita Powell in November 2013. Survivors include his sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Anthony Luke, of Rossville; nieces and nephews, Travis and Cody Simpson, Megan Bearden, Brandon, Mason, and Madison Nunley. Funeral services will be held Monday Dec. 16, at 2 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Mike Brogdon officiating. To share expressions of sympathy, visit lane-southcrestchapel.com.
