Helen Reardon

Helen H. Reardon, of Hixson, passed away Monday, Dec. 16, 2013. Helen was a longtime member of Hixson First Baptist Church and the Grace Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Eugene "Gene" A. Reardon. Helen is survived by her three children, Brenda (Dale) Fischer, of Fort Payne, Ala., Gail (Larry) Johnson, of Knoxville, and Al (Karen) Reardon, of Oak Ridge, Tenn.; six grandchildren, Carrie Ann (David) Carter, Catie (Chris) Hamilton, Chad and Seth Reardon, Kelly Johnson and Chris (Lauren) Owens; three great-grandchildren, Madie, Libbie and Claire Carter. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. today, Dec. 18, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home. Funeral service for Helen will be held at 4 p.m. today at the funeral home chapel with Rev. Terry Shannon officiating. Burial will be private on Thursday at National Cemetery. The family has asked that memorial contributions be made in Helens name to the choir at Hixson First Baptist Church, 5600 Grubb Road, Hixson, TN 37343.
