Mable Cannon

Mable Gladys Cannon, 85, of Chattanooga died Sunday, Dec. 15, 2013. She was born Aug. 17, 1928 in Rome, Ga., to Claude Mathis and Bessie Worthington Mathis. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Doyle Cannon. Survivors include her children, Judy (David) Blouin, of Baton Rouge, La., and Bobby (Patsy) Cannon, of Rossville; sister, Betty Smith; grandchildren, Jimmy (Kelli) Turner, Scott (Tammy) Turner, Sherri Giuliani and Shanda (Richy) Basson and 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 20 in the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens South.
