Helen Ipes

Helen Greavu Burbank Ipes, 95, of Collegedale, passed away Thursday, Dec. 19, 2013, in a Chattanooga healthcare facility. She was a member of McDonald Road Seventh-day Adventist Church and a member of Adventist Retirees Club. She was preceded in death by parents, Cornell and Mary Greav; her first husband, Howard Donald Burbank; second husband, Thomas Peter Ipes Jr.; daughter, Helen Janine Clark; and sister, Mary Randall Jorgenson. Survivors include two daughters, Mary Ann Roberts, of Ringgold, Ga., Donna Burbank Lindsay (Frank), of Cleveland; four grandchildren, Brian Lindsay, Cindy Tomaszewski, Christy Black, Jack Burbank ; one brother, Cornelle Greavu Jr., of Portland, Tenn.; two sisters, Anna Dean, of Holly, Mich., Virginia Buchanan, of Summerville, S.C.; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held Monday, December 23, 2013 at 3 p.m. at McDonald Road Seventh-day Adventist Church with Elder Fred Fuller, Pastor and Elder Jim Albertson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow in Collegedale Memorial Park Cemetery.
