Robin Michelle Sutton Seymour, 52, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 21, 2013 in a local hospital. Robin grew up in the Fairview Community of Rossville and was a graduate of Rossville High School where she served as majorette and was a member of the band. Following residencies in Crossville, Tenn., and Georgetown, Texas, she returned to Rossville and was employed by Assemblies, Inc. Robin was preceded in death by her grandparents, Dewey Lee and Maude Sutton, Sr., and Gilford T. and Lena M. Adams; father, D.L. Sutton, Jr.; and brother, Kevin Lee Sutton, Sr. Survivors include her husband, Steve Seymour; son, Adam Tyler Beene; daughter, Andrea Beene (Travis) Alford; mother, Janice Sutton (Cecil) Harris; sister, Deborah Sutton (Danion) "Smitty" Smith; grandchildren, Dahlia, Ian, Davion, Makinze, and Baylee; special step-children, Chanavi, Tara, Sarah and Amy; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services will be held Monday, Dec. 23, at 5 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Pastors Jim Bennett and Joe Dodd officiating.
