Garland Everett

Garland B. Everett, 64, died Monday, Dec. 16, 2013. He was born to the late TJ and Vonnie Everett in Gadsden, Ala. He attended Lakeview High School in Fort Oglethorpe class of 1967. He married Patricia Everett in 1992, and they lived in Lawrenceville. Garland served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He was a maintenance tech at FedEx Ground before retiring. He was a GT Yellow Jacket fan and enjoyed tailgating at the game with his wife and their friends. Garland is survived by his wife, Patricia; daughter, Shanna Matthews; and stepson, Christopher (Cristina) Haire; sister, Janice (Glenn) Carroll and their sons, Austin and Wesley, of Ooltewah.
