Tony Cook

Tony Cook, 56, passed away Thursday, Dec. 26, 2013, at home peacefully with his family. He was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area. He was a long haul truck driver and he enjoyed dirt track racing, working on cars and spending time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, J.E. and Elizabeth Cook; and two sisters, Peggy and Anne Cook. Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Jeannie Cook; their two children, Samantha "Sambo" (Chris) Cotman and Steven "Hoot" (Jennifer) Cook; His pride and joy, Sean "Hotrod" Cook; granddaughter, Michaela "Girly Girl" Lankford; brothers, David and Tommy Cook; Jim and Tommy Ervin, all of Chattanooga; several nieces and nephews; and he was a "Dad" to many, many children. Condolences may be sent to www.lane-southcrestchapel.com. Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. today in the South Crest Chapel. The family will receive friends from 1-5 p.m. today at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, located at the end of Historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
