Ralph Tudor

Sr.Ralph C. Tudor Sr., went home to be with the Lord early Thursday morning, Jan. 31, 2013.He was born in Robbins, Tenn., on Sept. 12, 1936, to the late Landon and Elsie Tudor.Ralph was retired from Carta Bus Co. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps and the U.S. Naval Service. He was of the Methodist faith.He was preceded in death by a sister, Irma; brothers, Doug, Doyle and Charlie.Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Joyce Tudor; daughter, Kathy (Ronnie) Standifer; son, Ralph (Renee) Tudor Jr.; grandson, Brian (Toni) Standifer; great-granddaughter, Payton (the love of his life); granddaughter, Julie (Matt) Farr, all of Hixson; sister, Wanda Kay Kennedy; brothers, Jimmy, Russell and Roger.A private graveside service will be held at Chattanooga National Cemetery with full military honors.The family will receive friends for visitation from 4-8 p.m. today, Feb. 2, at the funeral home.In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to Avalon Hospice.Arrangements are by Hamilton Funeral Home & Cremation Services; 4506 Hixson Pike, Hixson. 423-531-3975.
