Mae PollardRhoda Mae Groseclose Pollard, 92, formerly of Knoxville, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013, at home in Chattanooga.She was a devoted, faithful member of Atkins Baptist Church for 60 years, and recently attended Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Hixson.Mae loved her church, friends and family more than anything in life. She was a loving mother, wife, grandmother and care-giver to many family members and friends. She was a seamstress for many years.She was preceded in death by husband of 59 years, Charles Olin "Dee" Pollard; son, Raymond Bruce Pollard, of Alvarado, Texas; grandson, Tracey Horner, of Hixson; son-in-law, Jack Horner, of Hixson; brothers, Garfield, Raymond and Carl Groseclose; sister, Edna Bryant, "her best friend".Survivors include her son, John Dee (Anita) Pollard, of Corryton; daughter, Linda Horner, of Chattanooga; daughter-in-law, Dean Pollard, of Alvarado, Texas. She also leaves to cherish her memory: six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013, at Stevens Mortuary. A funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Herbert Jones, Dr. Darreyl Duggar and Rev. Ralph McGee officiating.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Susan G.
