TUNNEL HILL Manuel Ruben Canales, 55, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013.He had lived in the Cartersville, Ga., area for most of his life and was of the Baptist faith. His passion in life was his work as a carpenter and he was completely devoted to the job at hand. He had a love for cars, especially corvettes and was a devoted son, father and grandfather, who will be greatly missed by all that knew him.He was preceded in death by his father, Timoteo "Tim" Canales; grandfather, Manuel Canales and grandmother, Anita Canales.He has left behind his mother, Frances Canales, of Tunnel Hill, Georgia; children; siblings; grandchildren and numerous extended family.The family will receive friends from 37 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 8, 2013, at the Wallis-Stewart Chapel in Ringgold, Ga.Services and burial will be private.Arrangements by the Wallis-Stewart Chapel of Wilson Funeral Homes, Ringgold, Ga.
