Barbara Draeger

Barbara Jean Draeger, 88, of Hixson passed away Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013.Barbara was born in Minneapolis, Minn., but spent most of her life in the Hamilton County area. She was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Draeger. Barbara is survived by her daughter, Linda Draeger; sons, Jim (Elaine) Draeger, Daniel Draeger, Dave Draeger; five grandchildren , Jimmy, Alden (Kristen), Greg (Vanessa), Erin, Jay Draeger; and niece Louise Thomas.The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the North Chapel Chattanooga Funeral Home, and Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church.Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 5001 Hixson Pike, Hixson. Burial will be at the Hamilton Memorial Gardens.In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.Arrangements are by Chattanooga Funeral Home Crematory and Florist, North Chapel, 5401 Hwy 153, Hixson, TN, 37343.
