Lola Robinson

Lola Jacqueline Robinson, 87, of Chattanooga, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013.Mrs. Robinson was born and raised in Chattanooga. She was a graduate of Central High School and was retired from the Chattanooga Times Free Press as a National Advertising Sales Representative. She and her husband were very avid Tennessee Volunteer fans and supporters.She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold E. "Bud" Robinson; and parents, John and Louise Howard.Surviving are her daughters, Melanie (Tom) Hash and Valerie (Michael) Welch; granddaughters, Alison Hash, Kimberly (Dewayne) Oliver, Sarah (Nick) Rigsby and Lauren (Zach) Dilbeck; and great-granddaughters, Isabella Oliver, Emma Rigsby and soon to arrive, Ainsley Rae Dilbeck.Graveside services were held on Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013, when she was laid to rest next to her husband at Chattanooga National Cemetery with Rev. Wayland Stewart officiating.There will not be any visitation at the funeral home.Memorial donations may be made to the American Breast Cancer Foundation, 1220 B East Joppa Road, Suite 332, Towson, MD 21286.The family would like to thank her extended family at East Ridge Life Care who were her caregivers, Avalon Hospice, and friends and the therapy dogs who visited on a regular basis.Please share your condolences at www.chattanoogaeastchapel.com.Arrangements were by the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory, & Florist, 404 S.Moore Road.
