Joel B. Hayes, 55, of Chattanooga, died Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013.He was a graduate of Ooltewah High school and Chattanooga State Community College and a retired Air and heating mechanic.He was preceded in death by his parents, James "Totes" Hayes and Paula Doris Ferguson; and brother, James B. "Jim" Hayes II; his grandmother, Lucille Powers Hayes.He is survived by stepmother, Betty Hayes; three sisters, Martha Jo Hayes, of Daytona Beach, Fla., Carol Jean Hayes, Guild, Tenn. and Karen Beth Ferguson, of Ivesdale, Fla.; brothers, Donnie Ferguson, of Cleveland, Ga., Danny Ferguson, of Sadorus, Ill, and Roger Ferguson, of Champaign, Ill.; niece, Marsa and nephew, Bryce Hayes, both of Tuscola, Ill.; a host of other relatives and friends.Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. CST Saturday, Feb. 16, in Pine Grove Cemetery, Jasper, Tenn., with the Rev. Lloyd Harvill officiating.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Haletown Fire Department, P.O.
