Mattie Jordan

Mattie P. Jordan, 77, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013.She was born in New Market, Ala., and later moved to Chattanooga, at an early age. She was an employee of Erlanger Hospital where she later retired.She was preceded in death by her husband, L.S. Jordan; son, Gregory Jordan; sisters, Berdie Mae Dill, Anna Sue Pope. Corine Watts, and Janie Mae Holden; brother, Oscar Willie Holden.Survivors include sons, Ellis and Jeffery Jordan; daughters, Pamela and Angela Jordan; brother, Robert Holden, all of Chattanooga ; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.Visitation will be from 1-7 p.m. today, Feb. 17, 2013, at Advantage Funeral and Cremation Services.Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 18, 2013, at Greater Tucker Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Ezra Maize officiating,Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.Funeralarrangements entrusted to Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services Franklin Strickland-Pinkard, Bryan-Smith Funeral Directors, 1724 McCallie Ave. Chattanooga, TN 37404
