Faddie DeFur, 87, a lifelong resident of Chattanooga passed away at her home on Friday, Feb. 15, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband J.D. DeFur.Survivors: two daughters, Donna DeFur, Chattanooga and Connie DeFur Hicks, Soddy-Daisy; four sons, Lonnie (Joyce) DeFur, Chattanooga, Donnie (Connie) DeFur, Chattanooga, Ronnie (Simon) DeFur, Chattanooga and Monnie DeFur, Chattanooga; one sister, Bobbie White, Chattanooga; one brother, William Alfred Francis, Chattanooga; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20, in the chapel of Lane Funeral Home 601 Ashland Terrace. Interment will be in Smith Cemetery, Powell's Crossroads.The family will receive friends after 4 p.m. today and all day Tuesday at the funeral home.
