JASPER Melessa "Lesa" Mitchell Tate, 48, passed away Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013.Lesa was a registered dental hygienist and of the Baptist faith. She was born in Dunlap, Tenn. on Nov. 29, 1964 to Gary and Peggy Faulkner Mitchell who preceded her in death.She is survived by her husband, Randy Tate; daughters, Lindsey (Chris) Dalton, Sara Tate and Emily Tate; brothers, Dusty (Jennifer) Mitchell and Shane (Angie) Mitchell, both of Dunlap; grandchildren, Jade and Ava Dalton.Funeral services will be 8 p.m. today in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home with Minister David Grisham officiating.Private burial will be held on Tuesday at Sequatchie County Memorial Gardens, Dunlap, Tenn.Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. today until the hour of the service at the funeral home.Condolences and memories may be shared with the family by visiting www.tatefh.com.Arrangements are by Tate Funeral Home, Jasper, Tenn. 423-942-9500.
