Bobbie Hennessey

CHICKAMAUGA Bobbie Jean Goodson Scott Hennessey, 78, passed away Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013, in Nashville.She was born on May 26, 1934 to the late Robert Jerome and Lois Caldona Boyles Goodson. She attended school at Chickamauga City Schools and graduated from Tyner High School in Chattanooga, Class of 1951. She then attended Edmondson School of Business and graduated in 1952. She was a former resident of Chattanooga, Philadelphia, Pa., and Wiesbaden, Germany during the 1960s where she worked for the United States Air Force in Europe. She retired from General Services Administration as deputy to the assistant commissioner for Information Resources Procurement in Washington, D.C., after 30 years of service with the Federal Government. After retiring she moved to Nashville, and has resided there for the past 19 years.Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James F. Hennessey.She is survived by her brother: Ewing Marsh (Katharine) Goodson, of McMinnville, Tenn.; niece, Kaye (John M.) Dennison, of Springfield, Tenn.; nephew, Jeffrey Todd (Crystal) Goodson, of Clarksville, Tenn.; great-nieces, Katie Jean Dennison and Lilly Dennison, both of Springfield.The family will receive friends from noon until 2 p.m. prior to the service.Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. EST today, Feb. 19, 2013, in the chapel with Rev.
